Mega Mahy

On Tuesday last week the  children who went to Isaac theatre royal went to Magaret Mahy playground and Turanga. First off we got into cars and drove over there we had our lunches and played in the playground for 20 minutes and then walked to the library. Most people went to the slide and to get books out, however myself Arlo, Jennah, Mr Gray, Jaimie and Chleo had a big fooseball tournament. Then we walked  back to the playground and the rain was getting heavier by the minute so we got in the car and drove back to the school.

Museum Mayhem

Yesterday Team 3 went to the Canterbury Museum for a look at animal adaptations in the Arctic. We started with a hunt around the museum in small groups. Thanks to Joh, Joanne, Jade and (the returning) James. These 4 J's helped out with monitoring and managing the groups through the museum - no hints to hidden things were given. We then had lunch and 5 minutes to run around the gardens - watch out for that branch.
Anthony from the museum taught us about adaptations in the Arctic.

It was a great exhibition and the children all enjoyed themselves, sore noses and all.
